Taking MD referrals and Dental Sleep marketing to the next level

Context
I was brought on as a UI Designer for DDRM, Dentist to Doctor Relationship Management, a CRM tool to manage contacts, prospects, route mapping, and referral tracking tailored for sleep dentistry professionals.

As the team progressed through the development process, it became clear that a dedicated UI designer was needed to harmonize the interface of the product. The lack of a clear user flow, UI library, and prototype revealed several critical areas for improvement.

The challenge

The dental sleep medicine field is an underserved niche in the healthcare industry, with no existing software solutions tailored to meet its unique need–tracking referrals, managing relationships, and analyzing actions leading to successful referrals. DDRM identified this gap and missed the opportunity to create an all-in-one app solution to address this market with target users, Dentists, and their sales reps. The goal was to polish the User Interface to minimize user errors and create an intuitive all-in-one CRM for users while accelerating development cycles.

Solution

I utilized Untitled Pro Variables as the sole design system to ensure consistency across the interface and improved 3 key task flows within the application: Contact Management, Dashboard, and Referral Reports. The solution removed visual clutters, implemented consistency to the overall product, and reduced user mental efforts as they manage relationships and referrals.
