I'm Nhi (pronounced like 'knee'), a product designer with an extensive background in a customer-centric environment and training in business marketing and graphic design. I was born in Vietnam and moved to the U.S. at nine – I currently live in Oklahoma City. I've always had a passion for art, with stippling as one of my favorite mediums, and a deep appreciation for surrealism. My natural curiosity drives me to explore and learn more about human behavior, which inspires my work as a product designer. At the core of everything I do is a desire to make an impact—big or small—while embracing continuous learning and growth.

For years, I’ve worked in the hospitality industry and as an unofficial event planner, and I realized how much I love impacting people by creating meaningful experiences. My experiences and curiosity for people inspired me to transition to product design and return to college to earn my Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies focused on Business Marketing and Graphic Design. Combining with my immersive UX/UI program, I learned how to deeply empathize and cultivated a people-first mindset while balancing business needs.

When I’m not designing, I spend time outdoors, going to a music festival, backpacking, or planning my next hike. I find these activities therapeutic and have immensely fueled my creativity. I might also be watching Modern Family for the 15th time, exercising, experimenting with cooking plant-based food or hanging out with my dogs.

Empathy is inclusivity

I believe as a product designer, empathy is at the forefront of what we do; understanding
